A member of the Groundlings School of Theater, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the prestigious Walnut Street Theater and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Sylvia has had the opportunity to study and work with some of the finest acting institutions in the country.

Sylvia has displayed her wide range of talent in projects such as the feature film, “Bob Steele,” in which she played a stuttering prostitute, as well as Howard Stern’s television production, “Son of the Beach,” in which she played a clam eating lesbian. Other film projects include: “Dr. Chopper,” “That Shadow of Yours,” “Psychotic,” and “Portrait of Eve.

In New York, Sylvia performed in the award winning play, “You Shouldn’t Have Told,” as well as in the political comedy, “Survival New York” and many others.

The daughter of two Communist refugees who fled Soviet occupied Czechoslovakia for the United States; Sylvia has had a broad range of experiences in what has become an eventful, out of the ordinary life. She has also obtained dual American - Czech/E.U. citizenship, which make her eligible to work in the growing European film and television industry.
